AUSTIN (KXAN) -  Police now have a suspect in custody after a shooting early Sunday outside the MoJoe Room Bar and Grill in the Lincoln Village shopping center along Interstate Highway 35 and Koenig Lane.

It's confirmed two people were shot and suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both were transported to nearby hospitals.

The call came in around 2:30 a.m. after closing time.

The shots sprayed from a dark-colored car into the parking lot after a fight broke out.

"The security officer saw what was happening and then returned fire at the vehicle, unknown of striking anybody," according to Austin Police Department Cpl. Chad Marinka.

Police also believe others may have been shot in the gunfire and took themselves to local hospitals.
