AUSTIN (KXAN) - Police are investigating a robbery Sunday morning where two men got away after firing a shot in a restaurant.
Police responded to McDonalds, located in the Tanglewood Shopping Center near Slaughter Lane and Manchaca Road around 8 a.m. Sunday.
Witnesses told police a shot was fired during the robbery and that one person was attacked -- though no one was shot. The two men ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash and remain on the loose.
The restaurant has since reopened. Police said no one was seriously injured in the incident.
On Monday, APD released surveillance photos of the suspect in the robbery -- he is wearing a UT hat.
