AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police said that a 16-year-old boy died Friday morning from injuries he sustained in a fight that happened just after 6 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Uphill Lane.
Jorge Louis Medina, Jr. was taken to Dell Children's Medical Center in a private vehicle, according to Austin Police Department.
Homicide detectives are currently identifying and interviewing witnesses.

Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to an arrest or charges being filed.
This is the 27th homicide of the year in Austin.
