Teen, 16, dies from injuries suffered in a fight

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police said that a 16-year-old boy died Friday morning from injuries he sustained in a fight that happened just after 6 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of Uphill Lane.
Jorge Louis Medina, Jr. was taken to Dell Children's Medical Center in a private vehicle, according to Austin Police Department.
Homicide detectives are currently identifying and interviewing witnesses.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call the Homicide Tip Line at 512-477-3588 or CrimeStoppers at 512-472-TIPS or text "Tip 103" plus your message to CRIMES.
Tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000 if your tip leads to an arrest or charges being filed.
This is the 27th homicide of the year in Austin.
