AUSTIN (KXAN) - The first Formula One race in Austin is two and a half months away. And with 1,000 acres of track and facilities,  they need people to help run it.

Parking attendants, ticket scanners, servers, guest service and VIP suite attendants are needed.

"They're all friendly, all smiling and their all welcoming people saying thank you, a lot of things people take for granted in many businesses," said Tom Schneider, director of guest services for Circuit of The Americas. "We don't take that for granted."

The Circuit of The Americas has teamed up with Stadium People , a company that helps fill job positions at large-scale events.

Andrew Jackson of Stadium People said. "Once they apply online they will be contacted by our recruiting team, they'll give them a quick pre-screen, learn a little more about them and what's driving them to this opportunity."

Stadium People was there when the Dallas Cowboys' new stadium opened in North Texas, now they are ready to take on Formula One.

"They'll be right in the heart of the race," Jackson said. "It's going to be loud It's going to be fun. It's going to be energetic. And the folks are going to take away a part of history when they're doing working this thing."

There won't be any job fairs, the only place to apply is online at: stadiumpeople.com

COTA said jobs will be available long after Nov. 16-18 F1 weekend is over.

"We've got concerts and festivals and all these other things -- corporate meetings, social events all these things that are going on here year round." Schneider said. "We want the community and the local folks to join us for this, because nobody sells Austin better then the local folks. That's who we want here."
