TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - A 34-year-old Travis County man died Thursday after being shot two days before in what authorities described as a domestic disturbance.
According to Roger Wade of the Travis County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to 8108 Sigrid Drive in the east part of the county on Tuesday after being notified of a shooting. There they found Billy Jack Hysinger with the wound that would cause his death.
A 42-year-old woman was said to be involved, but no charges had been filed by Thursday afternoon.
"Detectives are still investigating and will turn their investigation over to the Travis County District Attorney’s Office for presentation to the Grand Jury when it is complete," Wade said.
