Austin is #3 fastest-growing city in US

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin now is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.

MainStreet.com says Austin is third, behind Las Vegas, Nev., and Raleigh, N.C.

The Capital City grew in population almost a third more, from 2000 to 2008.

MainStreet said companies like Dell, Whole Foods and Facebook help draw people to Austin.
