AUSTIN (KXAN) - The dust hasn't even settled on this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival, but organizers are already getting ready for 2012.
Next year's event will be a bit later.
According to their website, ACL has been set for the weekend of Oct. 12.
Angelou Economics, an Austin-based economic development company, conducted a study that found that the ACL Festival generates more than $73 million in visitor spending and total economic impact for Austin.
Event producers, C3 Presents , estimate that 53 percent of the 2011 sold-out festival's 70,000 daily attendees come from outside Austin.
