Two inmates missing from Travis jail
Left for work release, never came back

AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is search for two inmates who didn’t return to jail after being allowed to leave as part of a work program.
Jailers say Athena Ann Conner, 38, and Barney Doyle Silk, 31, left jail last week on work release and didn’t return.
Conner left last Friday to work at a Goodwill store, but never returned. She was in jail on an August conviction of possessing meth.
Silk was in jail on a 2008 burglary conviction. He left Wednesday and never returned.
