Thieves steal Christmas decorations

AUSTIN (KXAN) - In East Austin, thieves have hit a new low. Some crooks are now stealing Christmas yard decorations. Specifically, they are stealing large electric powered blow-up decorations.

The decorations can range anywhere between $25 and $250. Three of the large blow up decorations were stolen from the East Stassney Lane area of East Austin over the past weekend. Austin Police said to avoid becoming a victim, make sure your yard decor is in a well lit or fenced in area. Another suggestion is bringing in higher value decorations at night.
