Lightning strike sparks fire at house

AUSTIN (KXAN) - The Austin Fire Department has extinguished a house fire in the 4200 block of Alexandria Drive.

Fire officials said the blaze, that began just after 2 p.m., started by a lightning strike. Luckily, the residents at the home were not there, thus no one was injured.

AFD is still investigating the fire. This is the second lightning strike on Monday. The other one sparked a fire also.
