HAAM promotes Corp. Battle of the Bands

AUSTIN (KXAN) - The 2nd Annual HAAM Corporate Battle of the Bands is almost here. A representative of HAAM returned to KXAN to remind the public of the event going on next Tuesday, April 21, at Antone’s starting at 8 p.m.

HAAM, the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians, recently challenged Austin musicians to enter Health Alliance for Austin Musicians second annual Corporate Battle of the Bands. The challenge was extended to Austin area business professionals who perform live music in addition to their day jobs as lawyers, physicians and technicians. The event includes a fundraising contest and concert with a musical showdown between 10 bands. HAAM's mission is to provide access to affordable healthcare services to low-income, uninsured working musicians.
