PFLUGERVILLE (KXAN) - A suspected cyber bully is targeting dozens of Pflugerville High School teenage girls with a facebook page designed to be like a "burn book."

The creator is anonymous, but posts pictures of 55 Pflugerville High School current and former students. The captions below the pictures call the girls ugly, fat, alcoholic, and worse.  They are laced with profanity and the comment threads below some of the pictures have become heated, with some people even threatening the author.

Austin News brought the Facebook page, titled Panther Book, to the attention of the Pflugerville Police Department, who refused to comment, but said they are investigating.

In an email to Austin News about the profile, one person writes, "The creator of this facebook page has demeaned over 50 female teenagers attending Pflugerville high, with obscene remarks. The author needs to be brought to justice."

Several parents of Pflugerville High School students said they are concerned, but did not want to be identified for fear their daughters would be targeted.

Pflugerville ISD released this statement Friday night:

"Pflugerville ISD has been made aware of the KXAN investigation into a potential cyber-bullying situation involving students at Pflugerville High School. Although the District has no jurisdiction over this matter due to the summer break, we want to want to assure the Pflugerville ISD community that bullying of any sort will not be tolerated at Pflugerville ISD Schools."

Friday afternoon, another Facebook page was created called the Panther Book Pt. 2 . The author of that page uses the same photos- but with nice captions.
