Two-Alarm fire near Bastrop

BASTROP, Texas (KXAN) - Bastrop County Fire Department is working a two-alarm house fire outside of Bastrop in the Tahitian Village area.

The fire is in a single family home on Akaloa Drive near Kaanapali Lane.

The call came in at 7:50 p.m. on Friday night. Bastrop County Fire Fighters and the Bastrop Federal Corrections Institute Fire Fighters are working the fire.

The home is in the lost pines area, but Bastrop County Sheriffs officials told KXAN the fire is contained to the house and does not pose an immediate threat to the trees or nearby homes.
