AUSTIN (KXAN) - The drag on the University of Texas campus is expected to be a busy place leading up to the BCS National Championship game Thursday night.
Tyler's on the drag has seen steady business throughout the last week as University of Texas fans come in to pick up last-minute BCS T-shirts and hats.
And if UT wins, it could mean big bucks for stores that sell merchandise.
Back in 2005, Tyler's had their best day of sales the day after UT won the national championship.
If UT wins Thursday night, the store will open by 7 a.m. Friday with a whole new supply of merchandise.
"We'll get thousands of jerseys and hats and lots of more T-shirts and sweatshirts," said Tyler's Store Manager Jaime Blakley. "Last time we got mugs, so maybe we'll get some mugs in."
Those looking for a place to wear that UT BCS garb can find several watch parties around Austin, such as the Alamo Drafthouse, Scholz Beer Garten and Speakeasy.
Call ahead to make sure there is room.
