Businesses team up for CulinART event

AUSTIN (KXAN) - The International Special Event Society, Austin Chapter is holding 2010 CulinART. 

It's an annual Austin event raising money for the Wright House Wellness Center , a local nonprofit that offers care, resources and education to Central Texans living with or at risk of HIV and other chronic illnesses. T

The event runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday night at Hyatt Regency Austin.

The theme for the evening is "Nature's Labyrinth". The gala will feature aspects of our planet's four natural elements - earth, air, fire and water.

Celebrating 22 years serving Austin and surrounding counties, The Wright House Wellness Center has been offering care to Central Texans living with or at-risk of HIV and other chronic illness and providing resources for support, education and empowerment.

Available resources include: food pantry and nutrition, mental health, case management, HIV/Hepatitis C prevention & community education, and complementary health therapies.
