FORT HOOD, Texas (KXAN) - Troops from the 13th Sustainment Command based at Fort Hood returned home Saturday.
The soldiers were serving a year-long deployment in Afghanistan.
During the deployment, the 13th ESC Soldiers integrated into the Deputy Command of Support Operations under NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan.
The expeditionary command also served both in the headquarters of the directorate at Camp Eggers, Kabul, as well as in all five regional support commands across Afghanistan, conducting logistics training and mentoring with our Afghan partners.
