Sen. Hutchinson campaigns in HillCo

MARBLE FALLS, Texas (KXAN) - Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison's campaign made a stop in the Hill Country earlier Wednesday morning.

Hutchison brought her "Declare Your Independence" tour to the Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls.

The Senator, who is trailing incumbent Governor Rick Perry in the polls also addressed TV spots Perry has run portraying her as a Washington insider.

"His ad is absolutely false and he knows that," said Hutchison.  He knows that I've balanced the budget, that I've cut my office budget when I was a state treasurer."

Following her stop in Marble Falls, she went on to campaign in Fredericksburg and then Houston.
