WASHINGTON D.C. (KXAN) - Ever wonder how much the White House Press Secretary makes?  An annual report to Congress just released answers that question.  In the Obama administration, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs earns $172,200.  That six figure salary also goes to Senior Advisor David Axelrod and Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel.

The White House publicly disclosed its Annual Report to Congress on White House Staff Wednesday, July 1.  The report has been a requirement of every presidential administration since 1995.

The White House website calls the report  "consistent with President Obama's commitment to transparency."

The salary listing includes officials who work at the Domestic Policy Council and the National Economic Council.
