AUSTIN (KXAN) - Two men have been charged with raping a woman on the same night after attending a party in Waco.

The victim told police that throughout the night of May 3, she was sexually assaulted by both Scott Taylor, 20, and Jeffrey Schlitte, 21 - once in a truck during one party, and once in a motel room after the party.

The victim told police that she rode from Austin to Waco with a girlfriend and the friend's boyfriend, Scott Taylor, to attend a party. She then says that she consumed enough alcohol to become ill and begin vomiting. This led her to rest in the truck the trio had taken to the party .

The victim says that she fell asleep while resting and awoke in the truck after the three had returned to Austin. The truck was, at that point, parked outside of an apartment in Austin where an "after party" was going on at 1300 Crossing Place. The victim fell asleep again and later awoke to a man, whom she identified as Schlitte, on top of her, police said.

She asked him to leave her alone, but he instead began to rape her, the arrest affidavit said. At this point the victim’s friend approached the truck, which led Schlitte to leave, police said.

The victim, her friend and Taylor then proceeded to leave the ‘after party’ and go to a motel to stay the night. The victim says that while there, she remembers being upset that Schlitte was let into the truck where he assaulted her, police said. The victim says she went to sleep in the motel room a short time later.

At some point throughout the night, police said, the victim says she was awakened by Taylor who was looking for his girlfriend, the victim’s friend. He forced the victim to go search for her, but she could not locate her as she described herself as still being highly inebriated, police said.

This allegedly angered Taylor, who expressed his "need" for sexual gratification with someone before he went to bed, whether that be his girlfriend or the victim. He then forced himself on the victim and began raping her, police said.

The victim asked Taylor to stop, saying, "This is disrespectful," and told him that she was weak from vomiting. Taylor eventually stopped, according to the victim.

Jeffrey told police in an interview that he did have sex with the victim, but that it was consensual. He also described her as being pretty intoxicated. In Taylor’s interview with police, he too admitted that he began having sex with the victim but that it was also consensual.

Both men have been charged with sexual assault.
