LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) - Two men are in the Williamson County Jail for allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint in Leander on Wednesday night.
Leander Police said the robbery happened around 7:45 p.m. in the 3300 block of S. Bagdad Road.
The victim told officers he was walking through a field with two men he knew when they decided to rob him. The victim said the two other men pointed a handgun at him, demanded his phone and money. The victim was able to get away unharmed.
During a search of the area, officers were able to find the two suspects.
Dominic Funari, 18, and Adrian Guetlein, 19, were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. Officers found the handgun, which turned out to be a firearm replica .
