Online ad leads to prostitution arrest

TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - Police responded to an online ad on Backpage.com for a female escort based in Round Rock and end up arresting Catherine Lorraine Gilbert, 30.

Gilbert is now facing misdemeanor prostitution charges.

Police said Gilbert placed the following ad on the website:

@@@ My last day in Round Rock @@@

You will find me to be true elegance and class all wrapped up in a warm, sensual, heavenly body.  I am often told I am a pleasure to be with because I am open-minded, easy going and live to love passionately and sincerely. If you are looking to spend some unforgettable time with a beautiful woman who is intelligent, articulate and sweet, then I am waiting for you.

A court affidavit shows that in exchange for $150 the woman was offering a light touch body rub and for $200 an hour a 'super satisfying VIP session.'

Police said they called the number on the ad and Gilbert agreed to meet at a hotel near the intersection of I-35 and US Highway 290. 

When Gilbert got to the hotel, police said they negotiated a price with her for what she referred to as GFE or the Girl Friend Experience.

Police only said this 'experience' did not include anal sex.

Once police negotiated an amount for sex, Gilbert was arrested, the court affidavit states.

Condoms, massage oil and lubricant were taken as evidence, police said.

Further investigation in Gilbert's background showed she had previously been arrested in North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Louisiana. Her convictions range from forgery and prostitution to larceny and drug possession.
