Man arrested after taxi cab accident
APD officer made arrest after witnessing accident

AUSTIN (KXAN) - An Austin police officer working near 7th street and Red River witnessed a taxi-cab accident Sunday.
According to an arrest affidavit an APD patrol officer was stopped at a red light on Red River and 7th street when they heard a crash.
The officer noticed a cab driver leave his vehicle while a truck believed to have caused the collision attempted to leave the scene.
The APD police officer stopped the driver, Devin Vizcaino, 21 as it turned north onto Red River from the middle lane.
Vizcaino was arrested and charged for Driving while intoxicated.
