WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - Williamson County deputies said fingerprints helped them identify a man wanted in a home invasion robbery Wednesday afternoon near Round Rock.
Authorities said John Maxwell Green, 20, knocked on a door at the Mansions On The Green Apartments in the 7700 block of O’Connor Drive in broad daylight Wednesday afternoon.
When the person who lives in that apartment opened the door to see who was there, investigators said Green burst in and robbed the tenant at gunpoint.
The tenant said Green had a helper with him who helped him get away with a 42-inch plasma TV, a Playstation 3 and a cell phone.
Deputies were able to lift a fingerprint from a banister the tenant saw Green grab to charge him with the crime.
Green is in the
Williamson County Jail on an aggravated robbery charge. An alleged accomplice has not been
arrested.
