AUSTIN (KXAN) - A local hip-hop dance instructor faces sexual assault charges after two women reported that he attacked them, police said.

Stacey Aldridge, 42, is accused of raping a woman in June 2010 - forcing her to have sex with him at the studio where he worked after they had met through mutual friends at a night club.

Another woman told police that he had sexually molested her forcibly after dancing with her at a club in September 2006.

Aldridge faces a charge of sexual assault, punishable by two to 20 years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.

At the time, Aldridge was an instructor at The Dance Zone in Austin. The studio is located in the same building as The Castillian dormitory on the University of Texas campus on San Antonio street. He was fired after the allegations were made.

Aldridge told police the sex with the woman from 2010 was consensual, but acknowledged that he had attacked the other woman through her pants.

According to the arrest affidavit, Aldridge went with a woman to the Common Interest Night Club on Burnet Road on Sept. 21, 2006, and then went with him to his apartment around 2 a.m.

He made sexual advances toward her and she refused, police said. So she asked him to walk her to her car, and when they got there, she hugged him goodbye. He tried to grope her and she pushed him away and called him a name - at which point he forced her to the ground and used his hands to molest her before getting up and walking away, police said.

The woman immediately called police and reported the incident. The affidavit did not say why it took four years for him to be charged.

Four years later, on June 22, 2010, the second woman met Aldridge at a night club through friends. The two talked and and danced, and he told her that he was an instructor. He advanced on her and she refused, police said. Later in the evening, she was about to hail a taxi when he insisted on driving her home, police said.

On the way home, he told her the studio was close by and offered to show it to her. When they went inside, he came up behind her and forced her to the ground, police said. He ripped off her pants and forced her to have sex with him while she cried and begged him to stop, police said.

Two days after the attack, she went to St. David's Hospital and reported the rape.
