Brother: My sister tried to run me over

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Francesca Luna 26, was arrested around 2 a.m and charged with aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.

A court affidavit states Luna tried to run over her brother, Valentino Garcia, in the 1100 block of South Meadows.

Police said Garcia told them his sister was drunk and he was driving her home when she tried to hit him and missed.  He then got out of the car and started walking home in the westbound lane.

Minutes later, Garcia told police he heard the engine revving as his sister drove toward him, according to a court affidavit.

The affidavit also states Luna was driving her silver Mazda eastbound in the westbound lane.

Garcia was able to jump out of the way of his sister's car and then called police, the affidavit states.

Luna's bond was set at $15,000.
