APD: Man posted sexual Facebook video

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin police said they are searching for a man after a woman accused him of recording a sexual encounter without her knowledge.

Police said that man then posted the video on his Facebook page. Authorities said the victim contacted them last month after she noticed the posting.

She told police she and James DeLosSantos, 34, dated for a few months from July to September. She said she had no idea he was recording their intimate moments until she logged onto his Facebook page to find the video he posted.

She recorded the video using her cell phone camera and showed police.

Austin police said they were able to talk to DeLosSantos by phone Tuesday. He told detectives he did post a video on accident but said it was with another woman and not his ex-girlfriend.

DeLosSantos is charged with improper visual recording, which is a state jail felony punishable by up to two years in jail and a $10,000 fine.
