APD: Man offers cocaine for lap dance

Ricardo Luna, 26, facing charges

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A dancer at an Austin gentleman's club was offered crack cocaine in exchange for a lap dance early Sunday morning, police said.

It happened around 4 a.m. Sunday at XTC Men's Club off Andtree Boulevard.

A bouncer says he escorted Ricardo Luna, 26, out of the club after he made the offer.  At that point, an arrest affidavit shows, Luna kicked the bouncer and started screaming racial slurs.

Luna, according to the bouncer, was highly intoxicated.

Travis County Sheriff's Deputies came out and arrested Luna on suspicion of public intoxication.  Deputies said Luna refused to get into the squad car and they told him they would use a stun gun on him if he did not cooperate.

Luna eventually got into the car, but things took a turn for the worse while he was in the  back seat.

As deputies drove to central booking, a court affidavit states Luna began kicking the right rear door trying to escape. Deputies pulled over and then tried to secure Luna's legs with a tarp and it did not work.

Luna ended up kicking one deputy in the chest three times, the affidavit states.

The affidavit goes on to state that the other officer held Luna's chest so he could not head butt anyone and that is when Luna spit a mixture of blood and saliva on to one of the deputy's arms and legs.  Deputies said Luna laughed while spitting on them.

Deputies secured Luna and began driving again.  It was at this time that deputies said Luna began smashing his head into the metal cage separating him from the deputies in the front.

Deputies did not have to pull over this time because just minutes later Luna passed out.

Luna's bond is set at $20,000.  A judge also ruled he must wear a GPS in jail, adhere to a curfew and not possess any firearms or weapons.

It is unclear if deputies ever located crack cocaine on Luna.
