Bank robbery at Prosperity Bank

AUSTIN (KXAN) - There was a bank robbery at Prosperity Bank Friday at 3 p.m. The robbery location was 1610 W. North Loop Blvd .

The suspect entered the bank and demanded mondy. He left the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He is described as a Hispanic or light-skinned black male wearing a white jacket and a white baseball cap with a red bill and the letter "B" on the side also stitched in red. He was wearing dark sunglasses and was carrying a blue zip bank bag. The suspect is about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. Witnesses suspect him to be in his early 20s.

The suspect was last seen on foot heading northbound on Burnet Road. Detectives at the Austin Police Department are still investigating this crime.
