KYLE, Tx (KXAN) - Update: In July 2010, the Hays County district attorney's office declined to proceed with prosecution. The office said that although it had cause to believe an offense was committed, it was unable to prove the allegations beyond reasobable doubt.

Former theatre arts teacher Bowie Ibarra, accused of an "improper relationship" with a student at a Kyle high school, moonlighted as a pulp writer, penning books about zombies and one fiction piece about fighters.

Ibarra, 34, taught at Lehman High School until his resignation at the end of May. There is a warrant for his arrest in Hays County.

Among teaching and acting, Ibarra is an author as well.

Below, see some of his titles, with their descriptions from his website and the publishers::

Pit Fighters (2008)

Five different nations. Five different styles. One goal.

A young Kung-Fu master following a spiritual path. A pugilist from Scotland trying to resurrect a failed boxing career. A Russian SAMBO expert looking for a new lease on life in America. A Mexican luchador attempting to cross over into mixed martial arts. A street thug searching for a new life off the streets.

Drifting from across the globe to the small south Texas town of San Uvalde, the fighters assemble under the banner of a risk-taking entrepreneur. Combining their diverse backgrounds and unique skills, the men become a team united in one goal: glory in the new sport of mixed martial arts.

But will there unity and skills be enough to overcome their individual shortcomings, demons, and doubts when they are locked in a cage and tested by some of the deadliest fighters in the world? There will be only one supreme champion, and it will take more than skill, guts, and determination to succeed among a reborn breed of warriors: Pit Fighters.

Pit Fighters excerpt

Down the Road: A Zombie Horror Story

George Zaragoza just wanted to go to work and teach. But now he must face a horrific new reality: reanimated corpses attacking and devouring the living, federal agencies and military run amok, and an unpredictable civilian population surviving on their own terms.

Southbound I-35 was once the road he took to work. Now it is a bloody trail of bodies, wreckage, and woe standing in George's way. But before George can get home, he must come face to face with a ghost from his past, a vicious truth that could prove to be his undoing.

Can George survive the obstacles on southbound I-35, FEMA and Homeland Security, and the army of flesh-eating zombies on the verge of exterminating humanity as he travels down the road?

Down The Road excerpt

Down the Road: On the Last Day

Around the globe, the dead are rising to devour the living. Hospitals are overrun, and martial law has been declared. The streets are in chaos. Society is disintegrating.

In a small south Texas town, the mayor has rallied his citizens against the living dead and secured their borders. Isolated in the countryside, the community holds their own. But when two strangers from San Antonio stumble into town, they bring news of a global peacekeeping force sweeping toward the city. Led by a ruthless commander, the force is determined to secure the republic of Texas on its own terms, and establish a new, harsh government for the plague-ravaged nation.

Will the independently fortified Texas town hold out against the flesh-eating zombies and the tyrannical foreign army traveling down the road?
