AUSTIN (KXAN) - Toshiba has recalled 41,000 laptop computers because the units' plug-in port for the AC adapter pose a burn hazard.
Toshiba has received 129 reports of the notebook computers overheating and deforming the plastic casing area around the AC adapter plug, including two reports of minor burn injuries that did not require medical attention and two reports of minor property damage.
Three different models of Toshiba "Satellite" notebooks are under voluntary recall.
The models being recalled are the Satellite T-135 , Satellite T-135-D and Satellite Pro T-130.
Toshiba is offering free repairs for the problem.
