Some gas grills cause irregular flame

AUSTIN (KXAN) - There is a consumer alert for anyone who owns the flame SLG-series gas grill sold at Lowes.

More than half-a-million of them are being recalled because the burners can reportedly deteriorate, causing irregular flames and the lids on some models to catch fire.

There have been several reports of fires related to these grills and of burn injuries to the hands, arms and face, including one report of any eye injury requiring surgery.

Consumers should stop using the grills and contact LG Sourcing for free replacement burners and a free replacement lid. They can also visit Lowes online for more information.
