ROUND ROCK, Texas (KXAN) - Round Rock's own Dell released a new tablet-style computer Friday.
It's called the Streak , and it's a hand-held PC somewhere in between an iPhone and an iPad.
Like its rivals from Apple, the Dell Streak has voice and data from AT&T.
It's priced around $300 with an AT&T contract and $550 without.
It can only be ordered online at the moment.
The device is Dell's first foray into the soon-to-be-crowded tablet computer market, a market that's expected to become intensely competitive for mobile Internet devices in the coming year.
