AUSTIN (KXAN) - Four-legged Austinites will soon have a bakery to call their own.
"Woof Gang Bakery" is set to open on March 12 at 1204 N. Lamar Blvd . It is the first store of this franchise to open in Texas.
Austin animal lover Tom Morris, owner, said he is passionate about the store becoming a local resource for all things pet-related including proper nutrition, healthy lifestyle, valuable information and community involvement. He is dedicated to supporting animal shelters and area rescue groups.
“People think of their dogs and cats as family members and are rewarded with unconditional love in return. It makes perfect sense to treat our pets with care and respect,” said Morris. “I’ve always loved animals and I look forward to providing healthy products and good nutrition, in addition to making sure each and every customer feels welcome and cared for when they walk through our door.”
Woof Gang Bakery Austin specializes in healthy, natural pet foods and treats, including hypo-allergenic, wheat-free and grain-free selections, plus food, treats and supplements specially formulated for hip and joint issues. The store offers a variety of fun, fuzzy, floatable and tough toys, as well as fashionable accessories, collars and leads, and a wide range of pet grooming products.
The other 19 locations are in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina.
