AUSTIN (KXAN) - Austin Police arrested Lemarvin Edmonson, 29, Monday on a charge of possession with intent to deliver controlled substance after he reportedly robbed a Walgreens off North Lamar Boulevard last year.
The robbery occurred on Sept. 26, in which a suspect was seen smashing the pharmacy window with a baseball bat. He appears on the video inside the pharmacy as he steals over 6,000 pills of hydrocodone. The narcotics had an estimated street value of $75,000.
Blood and fibers were collected by crime scene units after the burglary. After examination, the samples matched an offender in the Texas Department of Public Safety’s CODIS laboratory. According to DPS, the donor of the sample is Lemarvin Edmonson.
Edmonson was also found by the Victoria Police Department while he was burglarizing another Walgreens pharmacy on Dec. 28.
His bail was set at $50,000.
