AUSTIN (KXAN) - This is an important election for Austin and Travis County.
Key issues on the ballot range from how you're represented on Austin City Council; a tax increase for a plan to improve access to health care in the county; to an ambitious plan to ease traffic and make easier for everyone to get around Austin whether your in a car, on foot, or on a bike.
They are all issues tied to Austin's growth and future and your vote matters. KXAN has teamed up with Leadership Austin for a special ATXpansion town hall breakfast to help you get informed.
The ATXpansion Decision 2012 town hall moderated by Robert Hadlock and Leslie Rhode is kicking off the Leadership Austin engage breakfast series on Oct. 10 on the Dell Hall Stage at the Long Center.
Doors open at 7:30 a.m. Tickets are still available. If you'd like to purchase one, you can do that online.
