The panel includes police chief Art Acevedo, safety commissioner Michael Lauderdale and program operations officer Dawn Handley from Austin-Travis County Integral Care.

The group will discuss what is important and relevant locally and regionally in the gun control debate. They will also address the most pressing safety issues for Central Texas and look into whether the region has the resources it needs.

Doors open at 7:30 a.m., with the breakfast starting at 8 o’clock.  KXAN’s Robert Hadlock will moderate the panel.
