Accident leaves 1 dead, another in jail

CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) - A Sunday morning accident left one man dead and another in jail.

Police said Michael Filius ran a red light on the frontage road of Highway 183 at Lakeline Boulevard early Sunday morning, slamming his pickup into the side of a car driven by Roel Castillo, 42. 

Castillo died at the scene.

Meanwhile, Filius faces intoxication manslaughter charges.

This is the 52nd traffic death of this year in Austin.
