AUSTIN (KXAN) - A man was arrested Monday after a little girl said he exposed himself to her on a Capital Metro bus.

Hector Rodriguez, 39, is charged with indecency with a child by exposure. He was in the Travis County Jail Wednesday afternoon on a $10,000 bond.

A man was riding cap metro bus #2065 in the 6100 block of S. Pleasant Valley when he noticed his six year old daughter covering her eyes. He said when he asked her why she was covering her eyes, she said a man was “showing his privates.”

The father told police he glanced over just in time to see Rodriguez covering himself with his sweater.

The bus was stopped, police were called and Rodriguez was arrested.

If convicted, Rodriguez could spend the next ten years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
