COLUMBIA (KXAN) - There was no change with the top three teams in the BCS Standings released Sunday.  Florida remains number one, followed by Alabama and then Texas.  The Longhorns did close the gap a bit after their 41-7 win over Missouri while Alabama needed a game ending blocked field goal attempt to hold off Tennessee 12-10.

Texas got the quick start on offense they have been looking for on Saturday with 21-0 1st quarter points to quiet Missouri's Homecoming sellout crowd.  Colt McCoy was 26-31 for 269, 3 TD's and an interception.  The Texas defense held Missouri to just 173 total yards.

The 7-0  Longhorns hit the road again this weekend for what could be their tougest test of the season as they take on 13th ranked Oklahoma State (6-1) on Halloween night. The winner of this one will be in the drivers seat for the Big 12 South title.

With the victory Colt McCoy ties Peyton Manning (Tennessee) as the 2nd winningest starting quarterback in NCAA history with his 39th win.  Georgia's David Greene holds the record with 42 wins as a starter.
