AUSTIN (KXAN) - Max's Wine Dive visits KXAN Austin News for Tasty Thursday to fry an egg sandwich accompanied with truffle aioli.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of ciabatta
- 1 Tbls truffle aioli (recipe follows)
- 1 oz clarified butter
- 3 pieces cooked bacon
- 3 eggs
- ½ oz white cheddar, shredded
- ½ oz gruyere, shredded
- Drizzle truffle oil
- Pinch course sea salt
- 2 slices tomato
- Crisp bib lettuce
Directions
- Toast bread in clarified butter in a large skillet
- Cook 3 eggs over easy and drizzle with truffle oil, a pinch of sea salt and fresh cracked pepper
- Top with shredded cheeses
- Spread truffle aioli on toasted bread
- Top with fried eggs, three pieces of bacon, lettuce and tomato
