Four-legged critters partied at prom

AUSTIN (KXAN) - Dressed in their best, some four legged Austin critters partied at the prom Sunday.

At Torchy's Trailer Park Prom they were raising money and awareness. The prom just wrapped up but organizers hope this is just a first step to help Austin Pets Alive grow.
 

"We're working on saving more animals and hoping to get a space donated to us to have another added aspect to our rescue organization which is our own animal shelter so we can raise our rescue rate from 45%, 80% or 90%," said Kimber Breaux, Austin Pets Alive.
