AUSTIN (KXAN) - Tuesday, Travis County Commissioners put off a vote that would implement a pharmaceutical savings program for Travis County residents.

While specific details are unknown, this program is similar to other programs that give residents a discount on commonly prescribed drugs, even if you have insurance.

Travis County Commissioners plan on discussing the proposed discounted drug plan at next Tuesday’s commissioners meeting.

That meeting starts at 9 a.m. in the commissioners courtroom, at the Travis County Administration Building at 314 W. 11th Street.  The meetings are open to the public or they can be viewed on cable channel 17.
