Cavs put win streak on the line Thursday

A look at this weeks high school football games

AUSTIN(KXAN) - Its week 2 of the high school football season and Lake Travis will put its 32 game win streak on the line at Cedar Park on Thursday evening.  This is one of four thursday games that also includes Bryan at McNeil (Round Rock ISD Stadium), Hutto and Akins meet at Burger Stadium, 2-0 Dripping Springs takes on McCallum at House Park, and St. Michaels and Lanier play at Nelson field.

There is a full slate of games on Friday night.  Leander is home against Temple.  Temple features one of the highest rated running backs in the entire nation in senior Lache Seastrunk.  Stony Point is home against Waco High, the Tigers have allowed just three points in their two wins.

The 2-0 Bowie Bulldogs are on the road against Hays where the Rebels are trying to avoid an 0-3 start.  Austin High is looking for a 3-0 start when they play 1-1 Westwood at Round Rock ISD complex friday.  Pflugerville hosts traditional power Converse Judson while Westlake tries to get back on track against A&M Consolidated after their loss to Lake Travis last week.
