Woman saves friend from pool

AUSTIN (KXAN) - A woman on Waterbank Cove told Austin police she pulled her friend out of a swimming pool Wednesday morning after she found him there not breathing.

The woman called 911 around 2:40am right after she says she pulled her friend from the pool. Austin Fire and EMS officials responded to the scene and performed CPR on the 48-year-old man. Paramedics say they were able to get him breathing and he had a pulse before they transported him to a local hospital.

His current condition is unknown.
