OMAHA, NE(KXAN) - It will be a re-match for the Bracket championship on friday as Texas battles Arizona State at 6:00pm.  The Sun Devils beat North Carolina 12-5 on Thursday to avoid elimination. ASU fell behind 4-0 on before scoring 12 unanswered runs highlighted by a Kole Calhoun's grand slam to tie the game. Calhoun has homered in each of his three games in Omaha and driven in 10 runs.

It was a role reversal for ASU after leading Texas 6-0 on Tuesday only to see the Longhorns score 10 unanswered runs to advance to the bracket championship.  Texas will get two chances to advance to the championship series if they need it.  Sophomore Cole Green is expected to get the start for the Longhorns. Green pitched 7 innings and allowed three runs in Sundays game against Southern Miss.

If Arizona State wins on Friday, they will play again Saturday evening with the winner advance to the best of three championship series which starts on Monday.

The last two years Texas played in the College World Series they advanced to the championship.  In 2004 the Longhorns lost to Cal-State Fullerton and then in 2005 they beat Florida for their 6th national title.

In the other bracket LSU and Arkansas will play Friday at 1:00pm, Razorbacks need two wins or the Tigers go to the title series.
