AUSTIN (KXAN) - Amy’s Ice Cream is an Austin favorite and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year! The creator of the trendy treat shop, Amy Simmons, stops by KXAN to share some of the delicious flavors that keep people coming through the fall.
Some of the Amy’s flavors that cater to the changing weather are Peppermint Bark ice cream, Pumpkin ice cream (very popular), Egg Nog ice cream and never-ending cakes (ice cream and regular). Another delightful addition to top off your ice cream is the Hot Apple Stuff, which is compared to the inside portion of a warm apple pie.
This year Amy’s Ice Cream is celebrating its 25th year with a special occasion ice cream flavor called ‘25th AMYversary’. This one-of-a-kind dessert has a Mexican Vanilla base with chopped up chocolate & vanilla pieces of cake.
