KXAN News is looking for a full-time TV news producer to join our expanding morning newscast. This is a chance for an experienced, creative producer to be part of launching a new format. Austin, Texas, DMA 45, is a highly desired and rapidly growing TV market. Be part of an innovative newsroom that values your ideas, and encourages creative, compelling producing.   Minimum of 1-year newsroom experience and journalism, mass media or communications degree preferred.

Requirements:
KXAN News focuses on in-depth, investigative coverage, and producers must deliver that in each newscast. Schedule includes working overnight. Responsibilities include: selecting, writing and showcasing content; creating graphics for newscasts; working with supervisors to manage crews and assignments; overseeing quality control of newscasts; booking guests for live interviews; filling-in to produce additional newscasts; field-producing on special projects; generating and posting content online.
