Two separate school bus accidents

HAYS COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) - Two separate school bus accidents occurred Tuesday afternoon in Hays County. One collision happened in the 9500 block of Highway 290 while the other was on Goforth Road just south of Bebee Road.

Hays County officials said the bus involved in the 290 wreck did not have student on board, though the driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital. Hays School District spokeswoman said the bus on Goforth Road had students from Science Hall Elementary School aboard, but luckily none were injured.

No information yet on how the accidents happened, but KXAN Austin News will post updates as they come available.
