KXAN/CW Austin continue analog signal

AUSTIN (KXAN) - After careful evaluation to ensure we are making decisions that are in the best interest of our viewers, KXAN and The CW Austin have decided not to discontinue broadcasting our analog signals on February 17, 2009.

Our decision was based on our detailed analysis of how prepared our viewers are for the switch to digital TV. KXAN and The CW Austin dedicated a tremendous amount of time, inventory and resources to educating viewers about the digital transition. We will continue to assist viewers while determining the most appropriate time for our station and viewers to transition to Digital TV.
