Hospitals to focus more on patients

New partnership will streamline hospital services

CENTRAL TEXAS (KXAN) - Seton Family of Hospitals partnered with MedSynergies to start a hospital-physician alignment solutions. The program will help the hospitals focus more on patient care.

"As the leading provider of health care services in Central Texas, we're committed to developing a world-class physician community in our region," said said Bob Bonar, executive president for Physician Enterprise of the Seton Family of Hospitals.

The new service will include:

"Physicians and hospitals are constantly searching for an answer to increasing their revenue and quality of patient care in this economic time," said John R. Thomas, president and CEO of MedSynergies. "Our main goal is to help hospitals improve quality of care by allowing physicians to spend more time with patients and less time on the business side of their practices."

Overall, the new partnership will aide the hospitals with billing, enrollment, patient services and operational processes.

Seton serves 11 Central Texas counties with more than 1.8 million residents.
